Kulturowa integracja osób niewidomych i niedowidzących w edukacji polonistycznej - fikcja czy rzeczywistość? (wybrane problemy)
Streszczenie
The cultural integration of people with visual impairments is explored based on the examples of chosen Polish language textbooks, adapted to meet the needs of blind and visually impaired pupils. The analysis reveals that the aforementioned integration is rather one-sided as it is limited mostly to literary texts directed at learning art created by fully sighted people. The students only learn about the culture, but in fact are not prepared to participate in it in a way that is accessible to his perceptual abilities.
Visually impaired students can achieve the same learning goals as their fully sighted peers provided that their cultural education will include works of art adapted to their levels of impairment, such as sculptures or other works created by blind artists.
