Polityka bezpieczeństwa Niemiec po zimnej wojnie : główne założenia programowe
Streszczenie
The unification of Germany proved to be one ofthe most important results ofthe Cold War. It raised concerns about the future of German foreign and security policy. There were doubts as to whether a temptation to return to old, fully independent policy and loosening ofthe transatlantic ties will emerge. These fears proved to be exaggerated. West Germany essentially continued the previous policy before 1990, although the growing potential ofthe state after the unification helped to strengthen the sense ofresponsibility for solving problems of international security and greater emancipation in this field. The paper focuses on program documents and the implementation of German security policy after the Cold War.
