Idea "smart city" - między innowacyjnością publiczną a technokratycznym zagrożeniem

Abstract

The aim of the article is to compare the technocratic vision of smart city with a model based on stimulating public innovation. The reference to Boyd Cohens concept allows the author to draw attention to the main ways of defining ideas and the practical consequences that follow. As a result, it constructs a kind of utopia of smart city, which can become an effective ideological factor stimulating political activities.
