Jedno wydarzenie - wiele przekazów medialnych. O etycznych aspektach konstruowania przekazów medialnych

Abstract

The article potrays the situation how the same social and cultural event / due to the manipulations with the word and picture /serves different aims and fulfils various communicative intentions. It has been done on the base of analysis ofMarek Grechuta Concert of Enchanted Song. The conclusions lead to considerations and doubts about the journalists’ ethics and credibility. At the beginning ofthe article the authors present functions of graphic materials and define the notion oftabloid also describing its receivers’ communicative competence. Then analysing some reports from the tabloids the authors specify the functions of the photos placed there and their relation to the presented event. The texts are also examined to check their credibility and true writers’ intentions. The considerations are finished with the conclusion concerning the stereotype of the handicapped person in the Polish society and the Polish mass media which leads to creation of a new notion ‘estropism’ -the discrimination ofthe people due to their disabilities.
