Kamińska, Beata; Olszta, Katarzyna
Modern educational measures, such as a computer, a multimedia presentation, interactive boards or the Internet, are more and more popular, or at least they are mentioned more often when introducing the ‘modern school’. However, what is the reality like? Are new technologies every – day reality during music classes or the traditional teaching methods are still ‘number one’ in education? Is the today’s school ready for effacement new innovations? If yes, are the teachers ready for them? The attempt to answer above - mentioned questions has been undertaken. The influence of the modern teaching methods for didactic and musical education for secondary schools based on the latest investigations, which have been performed among 50 teachers who tutor music in the area of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, has been discussed.

<description>Technologie informacyjno-komunikacyjne w edukacji muzycznej XXI wieku
Parkita, Ewa
The aim of the present article is to demonstrate the problems and possibilities for change in computer-aided mainstream music education. Any solutions is a challenge to the student, the teacher and the entire education system. However, if the results of such actions contribute to an improvement of teaching quality and a refinement of the general musical culture in the society, then the efforts taken for such purpose are well-justified.&#13;
How to utilise new technological achievements at the same time blending them with well-proven, traditional methods of music teaching/learning, without falling prey to the dangers of modern media reality? the intention of the attempt to look into the future on the basis of the existing data sources, analyses and global pedagogical trends is to search for theoretical and practical solutions, which may influence the formulation of the paradigms in modern music teaching.

<description>Komputer narzędziem realizacji wielkich wyzwań i projektów oraz codziennej praktyki szkolnej
Grusiewicz, Mirosław
The text addresses several key and current problems associated with modern technology in music education. the author analyzes the role and place and the usefulness of placing modern technology, digital devices and software in the schools. Modern technologies are considered from the perspective of state policy. In this scope, the author is critical of some of the activities undertaken by the MEN and MKiDN, for example of educational portals sponsored by both ministries. The author considers exempt from the license cost of information materials for use in schools (text, graphics, audio, notes – both used in the electronic media and present in traditional teaching aids) as one of the most important demands relating to the&#13;
educational policy of the state. The second area of analysis involves the daily practice of school. the author draws attention that the education programs and applications to the analysis of works of music, ear training, software support, and multimedia singing lessons for the youngest pupils are&#13;
marginally used. A number of examples of educational opportunities to visualize music will be discussed as a crowning element of the text. Examples include: 1. An image supporting the mood, climate and highlighting the emotionality of music. 2. telling the story with the image, illustrating the semantic content contained in vocal and program music. 3. Presenting musical forms, structures and instrumentation – from general schematic&#13;
graphic presentation of the different types of musical notation, melodic lines, dynamics, articulation, etc.
