<description>Rozwój osobowy. Próba konceptualizacji problemu w nawiązaniu do psychologii life-span
Straś-Romanowska, Maria
The article is a proposal to recognize the criteria of personal development of an individual. Personal development is thought to be changing of point of reference an individual adopts towards the main spheres of life. With respect to this assumption as the criterion of personal development the type of point of reference can be used. There are singled out three stages of personal development: the first one, socialization, with the external, social point of view dominating; the second one - individualization, with the internal, subjective point of view, and the third, specific one, with the transpersonal perspective. At the first stage the meaning of lives is imposed on the individual, at the second it is constituated by the individual himself, and at the third stage the meaning of life is discovered by the individual in the whole context of his experiences. Personal development is thought to be grounded in post-formal thinking operations.

<description>O "zmorach" analiz biograficznych
Rzepa, Teresa

<description>Typy zadowolenia z życia a system wartościowania
Zalewska, Anna
97 bank workers (aged 20-55) were investigated with: Neuberger and Allerbeck's &#13;
"Work Description Inventory" (life satisfaction), Brandstaetter's "Time Sampling Diary" (importance of motives, and happiness), Seifert and Bergmann's "Work Values Orientation” (importance of values). Four types of well-being (Winners, Sufferers, Aspirants, and Frustrates) are distinguished on the basis of a level of life satisfaction and happiness. The links of the types with valuation system are examined. The results show that a structure of valuation system depends on the types of well-being. The types affect a level of: Achievement and Social Power motive importance, Achievement and Affiliation value importance, as well as value-motive congruence in the two last valuation domains. Most differences appear between Aspirants and Sufferers. Four types of well-being manifest different Achievement value-motive relations what leads to a reflection that the types of well-being are mostly conditioned by value-motive relations in the Achievement domain.

Jaśkowski, Piotr
The paper reviews critically four hypotheses proposed to account for results concerning the force used by participants to press a response key (response force): compensation, overshoot, neuromotor-noise and common-code hypothesis. Even with some additional assumption none of them can account fully for all the data gathered so far.
